Ruslan Chir-Chir

Ruslan Chir-Chir was born in 1978 in Tashkent. He learnt at the special musical school after V.A. Uspenski in the class of clarinet.

During the study he took part in the Republican Competition and became the laureate and the first winner.

Ruslan also participated in the International competition held in the Middle Asia-in the Caucasus and he gained the first place.

Later he entered State Conservatory of Tashkent after M. Arshav and  he mastered the saxophone and the duduk professionally.

During the study he was on tour in Germany, France, Czechoslovakia and Thailand.

At present, Ruslan has the Title of “Golden Saxophone of Uzbekistan”.  He considers Arthur Grigoryan duduk as his favorite instrument.

Ruslan has published two albums of duduk: “Duduk of the East“and “Duduk of Crimea”. He has also played in the soundtracks of the films: “Jazo”, “Feride Sevgi”, “Shabnam”.
